It's a bit stereotypically French, but it's nice.

I like it, but would probably avoid it because El- names are really trendy / popular right now. It’s still a good name with a short, sweet sound.

As much as I try to take it in as a complete name, I can't help but see and hear the separate letters L, O, and D. It has the makings of a pretty name, just by its visual and relation to "melody" or such, but it just doesn't accomplish that in my opinion. Everyone probably has a name that is exhausting to see, or they find irritating, and Elodie is included in that for me.

I like it and it's on my list. I like the French connection (I have a French LN as well) but that it's still easy to spell and pronounce in other parts of the world. I like the sound, and I feel like it would be suitable for a child as well as an adult. It also has good nickname potential.

I like it. It was on our shortlist as a MN (to honour Elly).

I love it! Though I detest "Ellie" so I probably wouldn't use it. Plus I prefer other French -ie names atm (Eulalie, Sylvie, Amélie).

I love it, it's one of my favorites, used to be on the shortlist now it's on the long list because my husband met one that was a brat :(

It is a pretty name. I've never met one in person, and would be delighted too.
