Just wanted to gather some opinions about this name for an upcoming post on my blog. What do you think of Geralt?
I especially want to hear opinions from those who knew what this name is associated with before reading this. Does it affect how much you (dis)like this name? Would your opinion be the same if you put that association aside?

I’m not a fan. It seems made-up and almost like a misspelled version of Gerald.

I think it's a nice name even with the video game association. It's nicer than Gerald.

It looks like an anglicised form of Gerallt, only that would be pretty unnecessary as Gerallt is a form of Gerald. So as it's neither one nor the other, I'm guessing it's a fantasy name, but it's not one I've come across.

I like it okay, but perhaps would prefer Gerald just because it's the more usual one, at least where I live
