I'm always surprise to see English names popular in Italy.
Carol is one of these as in 2016 were born in Italy 124 of them!
Carola (both KA-raw-la or ka-RO-la) is the Italian form of the name as well as the word for that kind of songs. In 2016 were born in Italy 279 Carola.
Personally I dislike both because of their sound. I love XMas but these two names are unattractive imo.
