[Opinions] Justine
I can’t decide how I feel about this name. I like it, but at the same time it seems rather boring. It’s not used often on young girls today, so it would be a nice change; but again, it feels kinda bland. I can’t seem to find a name that I like as a mn either. WDYT?

Justine's a lot of things, but I would never say that bland is one of them. If anything, it's almost too flashy; it sounds like a name for a dominatrix. Mistress Justine and like that. There's a very famous (even in mainstream circles) classic porno movie called "The Devil In Miss Jones" and Miss Jones's first name is Justine. (She wasn't a dominatrix though.)I worked with a woman once whose grown daughter was named Justina. That might be an alternative for you. Trouble is, when she first said Justina, and I don't remember exactly how the sentence was worded, I thought she was saying "just Tina."

I like it. It's one of those names that's really not used much, so it feels "fresh", but isn't out-there at all. It might be kind of dated-sounding depending on how old one is because of the popularity of Justin at one point in time, but I wouldn't worry about that personally -again, because Justine's never been that popular. I can see what you mean about it being a bit bland, but I also get a Roman vibe from it so I think it's rather cool actually. I've only ever met one in real life, a co-worker's wife. It fits her I think in the sense that she's sweet and a fairly soft-spoken person, but ready with a smile and likes to do outdoorsy things.

I knew one growing up. She dated, and cheated on, my neighbor. I never really liked her and the name is sour in my mouth. One of those childhood connections you never get over
