[Opinions] Re: celebrity BA

About her first name, I have just one question: Is the irony deliberate and subversive, or is it unconscious? On purpose I'm choosing to assume the best of people, and going with the former. That makes it quite interesting.
Kiari is neat. I'm betting she'll go by it, and may be meant to go by it. Because Kiari Kulture wouldn't work the way Kulture Kiari does.
I'm curious what they say about Cephus.

Cephus is the last name .. (edited to add another thought).
Sorry, I should have been a bit more clear about that. Her father's real name, first and last, is Kiari Cephus.
Cephus is not an uncommon last name around here (don't know where poor Kulture's father is from) and is very much a black surname, like Washington or Jenkins. (At least around here Jenkins never seems to show up on white people.)
Kulture Cephus actually sounds horrible, like a lab test for some nasty drug-resistant infection.

Oh. Hmm. I guess she won't go by Kiari then ... interesting.
eta after reading noel's message - I don't understand whatever thinking/feeling is behind someone naming a baby after a title of their own work.

Kiari ...
I can't remember what exactly they were, but I remember when I studied medical terminology something about Chiari Malformations. Were they in the brain? I guess I could look it up but I'm too lazy just right now. Anyway, Kiari reminds me of those. Kiara or Kiera or Kiana would have been so much nicer.
As for naming after the album, well, yeah, it would be like Michael Jackson naming one of his kids Thriller. (Not that I'd put that past him.)
