Martin

Martin is a name of whom I've sadly known few - at most, which to me is sad. I love the name - without consideration of the nickname Marty. I am a big fan of the name Martine (with the letter 'i' pronounced as a long 'e') - and I've only known one lady with this name (and pronunciation).

I love (LOVE) the Julian, Julius, Jillian, Julie, & Jill name & line of variations & derivatives.

- I also like Leonard & respective variations, derivatives, & diminutives.

Julian Leonard?

Juliann Leah?

Julie Leonarda?

I've never considered the Malcolm name - however the use of the letter "l" and its contour upon the preceding vowels is interesting.

Nor have I ever considered Raphael - on which I just reviewed on BtN's definition page. I am surprised that Ralph is not considered to be a related name - not even as a diminutive - popular nick-name.
