[Opinions] Meadow
I was just looking through Wikipedia and there's a famous person who's birth name was Meadow. He was born in 1932 so pre-hippies.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meadowlark_Lemon

Nature/word names have a long history.I don't like Meadow by itself, but Meadowlark Lemon is colorful, and I like that.

I still prefer Meadow on a girl.

Ha, what a great name! Nice find.
Meadowlark is much more fun than Meadow, which makes me think of cows.

I actually love Meadowlark, it's a GP of mine, so I'm not sure why I don't care for Meadow. I love meadows and flowers and cows, and I'm usually fond of hippie names but all I can think of is butter commersials...

Most interesting! Not clear from Wikipedia if he was just Meadow, or if Meadowlark was a professional name or his actual full name.No mention of a Mrs Lemon! But these are his ten children:Richard, George, Beverly, Donna, Robin, Jonathan, Jamison, Angela, Crystal and Caleb

I think his actual (birth) name is Meadow Lemon III.

That's pretty bad, especially paired with his last name. Very fruity but not really the place where lemons might grow. All I can think of is Meadow Soprano. Which is also bad because it sounds like a play on mezzo-soprano.
I think it's a dumb kind of name anyway.

i love Meadow. i never considered it on a guy though! now i love it as a unisex name, but i still prefer it for girls (i like the -o girl names). Meadowlark is a really cool spin, though i guess not many people would be a fan of that since Meadow is already dismissed as too hippie :/
