Yes. If you don't use it, what if she does? You aren't going to tell her she can't use it, right? What if her friends start to call her that and she likes it? You really can't get away from it.
My personal opinion is that if you hate it so much, don't use the long name. There are thousands of names to choose from.

Yes there are thousands of names, but getting two picky people to agree on one In only a matter of months is not at all easy...it’s surprising we’ve agreed on one at all
