Help[Opinions] Ida
This name has been on my mind recently and although I probably wouldn't use it myself (Though not saying that's a definite), I would love to meet somebody named Ida (Ie-da) or would be pleased to see if it were to ever resurge back into popularity a bit, though that's probably not likely. (Just clarifying that I find the name beautiful) Besides that, I also find it classic and adorable.
I don't have any combos for it but you can recommend some if you want, either as a first name or middle.
Sibling sets I think sound nice together: (I normally don't do sibling sets unless they are for writing purposes or sets that I would use IRL. These are just a few that sprang to mind)
Freya & Ida (Freya is just 'ok'\tollerable enough in my book but I really like this sibset)
Ida & Stanley (Brother\sister or husband\wife or a pair of two cats, either way I'm a fan)
Ida & Alice

It’s quite common where I live, in Norway. We pronounce it «ee-da». I’ve found it a bit dull since I was a child, but its also kind of cute, short, simple and probably easy to use worldwide. And its easy to combine it with middlenames, common combos here are Ida Sofie and Ida Marie.
The name has good qualities, it just doesnt excite me for some reason.

I have Ida on my list, and initially intended on using the E-da pronunciation, as Eye-da made me think eiderdown for some reason, but I’ve started to like Eye-da too. I think either one could work where I live, but more likely Eye-da. I don’t actually know which one I like better.

I’ve loved the name ever since I first read the Little House books. Laura’s friend Ida is so sweet and pure and jolly, and the name embodies that for me. I pronounce it like EYE-da.

That's what I thought of, too! That's how I pronounce it, also.
I use to have a Sunday School teacher named Ida, although we always called her Miss Lastname. sometimes she would bring molasses candy, or fudge, to the class. Only sometimes, though!
