In the UK, I think you could pull it off more easily though it's pretty dated there, from what I can tell.
In the US, Robin was never all that popular as a boy's name, but was very popular for girls. It's not in style anymore for either.
I only like it on girls.
We don't need to set the sky on fire. A little glow will do just fine.
