Wow, these are really interesting! A few thoughts:
Azélie and Zephyrin seem so modern, it’s really surprising to see them on someone from the 1800s! It sounds like something a trendy parent from Laval or Joliette would name their kid.
I love Calixte, Cyprien, Aristide, Clotilde, Delphine, Victoire (so rare to see this name in Québec! Victoria is much more common), and Flavie.
Cleophas seems pretty unattractive. I know it comes from the Biblical figure but it still doesn’t seem like an attractive name at all.

I met a French woman earlier this year who initially thought my name was Virginie (I guess because I was introduced in a group as "from Virginia"). I didn't correct her for a few days, because I kind of liked being called that. It's more lighthearted than Virginia, imo.
My real name is Victoria, and I would change my name to Victoire, if it didn't sound exclusively French/foreign. I like that it's shorter and doesn't require a nickname.
Delphine, Marceline, Azélie, and Rosalie are pretty.
I admire Clotilde, but I think it'd be a difficult name to have where I live.
Salome is gorgeous, but too many people I know associate it negatively with the biblical character.
Cleophas mainly reminds me of Priapas...I think I like it?
Chrysanthe for a guy is interesting.
I prefer Zephyrin to Zephyr. It seems more complete.
Zotique sounds annoyingly like exotic, unless I'm pronouncing it incorrectly.
I like Napoleon. My generation probably associates it closely with Napolean Dynamite, though, so it's a GP.

Hey, Hermengilde! a man named that was our Lieutenant-Governor (New Brunswick) some years back.
I like Godefroi also.
