Paulette - makes me think of a palette. I'm not very fond of -ette and -etta names.
Paulina - rather cute.
Pauline - sounds like a brat to me, maybe because I used to know a bratty girl whose mn was Pauline.
Paula - rather common in my generation, so not a name I would give a child, but I used to know a nice girl called Paula, so it's not bad.
Does the sea exist
