No, because it's the name of a country.

Oh! So, are you opposed to Jordan, too? Cuz that's a country! xPAnyway, I disagree. I actually have a thing for place names. :)

Yes, I am. Besides it's different. Jordan is not as associated with the country as Trinidad is.

Jordan and Georgia are names of countries but are also known as names, and have different linguistic roots. Trinidad is not.

My first in-my-head-thought is: Where is his twin Tobago? I do kind of like it, though, and the nn Trin. Other Spanish Marian names I like are:Rocío
Socorro
Arantzazu
Itziar
Luz
Meritxell
Angustias
Araceli
Iker
Paz
Queralt
Reyes

I don’t know if I’m in a weird mood because I normally hate names like this. But I kind of dig it. However, a personal connection to the country is a MUST, imo.

I like it! :DI like it :) Nicknames could be: Trin, Nid, Da, even Nidi if you are feeling creative xDI like different & creative names so this is something I'd definitely use

It's a long name and the only available nicknames are Trini and Dad. I'm not saying it can't work, but I wouldn't like this name as a boy. It's also heavily associated with the place, so I wouldn't use it for either gender.

I've only met women with this name, but actually I can see it on a guy. I don't like it much though.Pilar and Socorro both sounded more m than f to me when I first heard them
