Wedding Budget - 5 Andrew and I love our jobs. Andrew is pretty much obsessed, since he loves his medical feild, and he very much enjoys teaching and passing on the trade to others. I love my job, because though I don't get paid as much as if I owned Microsoft, I get to work with the sweetest class of fourth graders six hours a day! I also atomatically get weekends off, and that's nice, Andrew and I often spend time together on Saturdays, and go to Church on Sunday. Our wedding day was very nice. We didn't go full out expensive, because we wanted a fairly "extravagant" honeymoon. We spent countless discussions on where the ceremony would take place- Since we are both happy Christians, we liked the idea of having it in our church, but I also was pulling for in Outdoor wedding, the time period we had chosen had gorgeous weather (Early July). Finally we decided to have it outside ant Amabel's Nursery, a lovely garden with huge archways and lilacs, (for free- we're friends with the owners Shea and Nicholas) but we invited all of our fellow churchies, family, and friends, and had our pastor marry us. The guest list was rather long, since we included all of those people, which ended up making the catering pretty pricey. We budgeted a bit more on the clothes, Andrew wearing some nice pants and a white shirt, I had a lovely flouncy garden dress (I just kept wanting to flounce around in it).All in all the wedding was great, simple, but the garden and the weather rally made it special. It was sweet, all of the little animals hopping around, I actually had a butterfly land on my head while Andrew and I were saying 'I Do'! I didn't want to take his last name, so we kapt our own, but we do plan to give our children his.We went on a honeymoon to Hawaii, it was very nice, and relaxing, since we didn't plan much. We mostly went sight-seeing, and swam in the beautiful water. It was a whopping 120 degrees at one point! We came home very tierd and happy, but it was definetly worth it.
