Location: Belgrade, Serbia
Vik and Kiley meeting and getting married was a series of coincidences. Vik is a native of Sweden and came to Serbia with an entrepreneur dream to set up a chain of high-end gym's. Kiley is a native of Texas, USA and came to Serbia to work in a non-profit. They met on a night out with friends and got married after a whirlwind romance six weeks later. They reside in Belgrade where Vik is running his first gym with moderate success and Kiley works as a campaign manager in a non-profit.
Year One
Vik and Kiley were not really planning on a baby any time soon, so when the pregnancy test came back positive there were a lot of mixed feelings involved. After going back and forth they finally decided to proceed with the pregnancy and welcomed Charlie after an uneventful pregnancy and delivery months later. Charlotte Ava Ingrid was born with a head full of brown hair and daddy's brown eyes and has Vik wrapped all around her pinkie since day one.

Year Two
Instead of gaining new clients Vik's gym is losing customers, no surprise as they go after wealthy customers in generally poor country. He is now thinking of a new strategy to evolve the gym further.

Year Three
After their whoopsie two years ago, Vik and Kiley just decided to go with the flow when it comes to family planning. With a little marketing help from Kiley the gym is gaining new members so Vik is finally making good money and they felt financially secure when little Niki joined the Lofgren family. Veronique Nell Fredrika looks just like mommy and Charlie is getting used to being a big sister, so far it's hit and miss, but Vik and Kiley are sure one day she would enjoy having a little sister.

Year Four
Just a year later the family welcomed baby Mel. Vik is now rather sure he is going to be outnumbered until the end of his life. Charlie is for a change excited to have again her own real life size doll and Niki is not sure what to make of the new family situation. Emmeline Zoé Greta has her daddy's eyes and hair color.

Year Five
With three kids under four at home Kiley gave up her work for non-profit and is instead working together with Vik, taking care of the marketing for his gym, that he plans to extend.

Year Six
The inflation that hit the country did no good to Vik's business and he lost quite a lot of money. The family had to cut down the expenses.

As if it was not enough Vik got in trouble with Serbian government due to fixing the prices with his competitors. He and Kiley are seriously considering leaving the country.
Year Eight
The price fixing issue got swept under the carpet as it usually does and Vik and Kiley decided to stay in Serbia. They in fact welcomed recently another bundle of joy to their growing brood. Their first son Jem. James Phineas Viking came out with a head full of curly blond hair and green eyes, he resembles his paternal grandmother and the girls are in love with their baby brother.

Year Nine
Kiley got quickly bored with the marketing for Vik's gym, so when the offer came to return to the non-profit with a better pay and shorter work hours she jumped on it without hesitation. With Vik's fluctuating income and the girls starting school already it's always good to have at least one steady income.

Year Ten
Charlie has found her passion at figure skating and has been taking the lessons for the past year. She dreams of competing at the Olympics, but Vik and Kiley are a bit skeptical about that, but they fully support her new hobby.

Year Eleven
The girls have been begging Vik and Kiley for a dog, well forever. They finally gave in and bought home a puppy of golden retriever from a local shelter. The girls have named her Pinkie.

Year Twelve
When the girls got their dog, Jem wanted naturally an animal of his own, a fish. For his birthday he got a Goldfish whom he named Nemo.

Year Thirteen
Vik's mother Ingrid sadly passed away from colon cancer. The whole family traveled back to Sweden for the funeral.

Year Fourteen
Not being able to conceive again after Jem for years no matter how hard they were trying, Vik and Kiley were sure that four kids will be their final status, until the test came back positive and baby Jules joined the family eight months later. Jem is excited to have a brother, no matter how big the age gap is.

Year Fifteen
Just a year later the stork arrived again and Kiley gave birth to her third son, Tino. The forces in the family equal again, something that Vik was not even hoping about anymore. Quentin Bjorn Casper looks exactly like his mommy with head full of black hair and violet eyes.

Year Sixteen
As if the house was not full enough, Pinkie gave birth to two puppies. The Lofgren's decided to keep both and named them Bonnie & Clyde. Bonnie is a boy, but he does not seem to mind.

After missing months and months from work, Kiley got fired from the non profit and decided to become a SAHM.

Charlie had always been serious about figure skating, as she reached the limit in Serbia and was not progressing any longer Vik and Kiley decided to send her to Montreal in Canada to train with better coaches. Kiley's mom moved to Montreal too to help Charlie to settle down in the beginning.

Niki and Mel are taking the divorce hard and refuse to speak to their father as they blame him for it.
