[Opinions] Sowilo?
What do you think of it as a name? Sowilo is the name of the s-rune in the runic alphabet and means "sun".
From what I can tell it's pronounced "soe-wee-low". If you're into trendy indie names like Willow or Winona it might be interesting to consider.

Before I clicked on this, I thought it was going to say it was African or Native American.I'm not super familiar with the runic alphabet, but if we're gonna start naming our children runic letters, I vote to name mine Nyedis because that's so cool sounding. Maybe a sibling named Othala or Jera.

Based on my (admittedly limited) knowledge of Runes, and of Nordic languages I think it would be SO-veel-OH with two short O's. There is no W sound. It's interesting, doesn't sound like a name to me.

I think it sounds cool. Not enough to use it for me as it is personally not my style, but its sounds like it would be a good choice for parents who want a interesting choice without much use.

Before I clicked it and saw that it was the name of a rune, I thought it sounded African.Personally I'm not a fan.

Hi !!!!This name is certainly unique.
It is the first time that I hear it. I much prefer Sunniva or Sorin though.
