[Opinions] Re: Some Albanian names
in reply to a message by Felie
Luan is very trendy where I live. In every class, there is at least one kid called Luan. ^^
And I know people my age named Endrit, Luan, Shpetim and Besim. The other names I did not know until now. Are they used in Italy?

Hi!!!
Are you from Albania?
Well.. I met many people IRL but the only name I listed with a meaning is Xhoi because I didn't find the others.
These names come from a book written by Anilda Ibrahimi, an Albanian-Italian writer.

Hi Felie!
No, I live in Switzerland. But we have a lot of people with albanian origin here (because of the wars down there) and I went to school with a lot of kids from former refugees [so-called Secondos]. And now Luan is used even in families without any connection to Albania^^
