[Opinions] Re: Harper, Ellis, & Shane

I don't care for Harper. It reminds me of "harp on" - dwelling on a subject annoyingly and monotonously. Trying to put that connection aside, it's okay. I'd rather see something like Hazel, but it's much better than Harlow.
I like Ellis. It's a little surname-y, but not excessively. It has an old-soul feel to it. I've never met anyone with this name, and although BtN has it listed as masculine, I saw a female character on a television show with this name so I automatically see it as slightly more feminine, but it strikes me as strongly unisex.
I don't really like Shane in general - it just seems incomplete to me. I don't like it as a feminine name. What about Shaina, Shauna / Shawna, Shana / Shanna? Or to be a little more unisex, Shannon.
