[Opinions] Danielle
Thoughts on Danielle? What would you think if a mother named her baby daughter Danielle, now? Would you think it was nice, or dated? Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

I like it but,I wouldn't use it for my daughter because I know so many people with this name

I think that Danielle could be a great name! There are so many ways this name could also be shortened too. Your daughter could be just Danielle. Or, she could be Danielle, Dani, Elle, or Ellie. It's very versatile and is a great name overall. Hope this helps!

I actually wouldn’t mind it, compared to some of the names in my kids school.
My first thoughts (if I heard of a baby girl named Danielle, and didn’t know her) would actually be , maybe she is Hispanic?
We have a huge Hispanic community nearby, and I meet many little Nancy’s, Betsy’s, Kimberly’s, Jessica, Brittany, etc.
They seem to like a lot of the names that are older, but not super old, popular maybe about 20 yrs ago or more.

I like it. It is dated, but in a nice, upbeat way. And I love Dannie, it's like a ridiculously good mood all the time. I'd be pleased if I met a young Danielle.

Meh. I've always....not hated, but.....not really disliked, but.....I guess you could say "looked down upon" the "This is French so it's pwetty" mindset when it comes to names. And then I think a lot of Danielles must end up being called Danny or Dani and I don't like that for a girl.If a mother named her daughter Danielle now, I'd feel the way I did when I knew a Heather born in 2006. I'd wonder if the parents knew that the name is passe, and if they did know, why they didn't care.

It's okay, but not a real favorite. It would be kind of a nice change to see a new Danielle today. I do kind of prefer Daniela over Danielle, but the yell ending is a bit off-putting.

Less dated than Michelle, more dated than Arielle, about equal with Gabrielle. I like them all.I'd think it was boring, but it's one of my favorite names that I consider boring. About like Julie or Claire (...Julia, Clara, Daniela would seem more current to me, but other forms are still nice). I wouldn't be surprised by a baby Danielle the way I was surprised by a baby Brittani.

When I was a kid I longed to be a Danielle called Dani. So cool. So tomboy.I am no longer a fan of Danielle. Daniela is prettier but still not a favorite. If I met a little Danielle now, I'd suspect she was named after an important Daniel. Otherwise, I just can't imagine seeing a name so far out of fashion on a child.

I love the name Danielle--and consider it synonymous with Daniel: any pronunciation difference between these spellings merely depends on the syllable on which we place the accent - even just the treatment of the final diphthong.

I think Danielle is a pretty name. It doesn't sound very dated to me at all.
