Would never have thought i'd say that I like it, but I teach the cutest little boy (about 8) named Elwood who goes by Woods.

He used to go by Woody as a toddler/kindy kid. His brothers name is Cassidy! Such nice boys, definitely influenced my like of their names.

It's a fairly common road name...if someone asked me "Where is Elwood?" my first thought would be that they're asking for directions. I don't think I'd want "wood" in my name either. Too much potential for stupid jokes.But El is a pleasant nickname for a guy imo.
