It's weird because I immediately think, "why not Eve?"
But it's not so bad. Better than Josephine.

I love how clunky it is! Addie and Mina are darling nicknames.

I quite like it, if I squint sideways and view it as a fancy version of Ada, rather than a clunky female version of Adam.

I imagine a stern grandfather who had always insisted that the first grandchild would be Named After Him and wasn't going to change his mind just because said grandchild was inconsiderate enough to be a girl. And the sound is so clumsy. And I far prefer Eve!

I think it sounds pretty ugly. And a feminization of Adam feels pretty silly to me, since the name just means 'man.'

I think it's clunky, a bit like Roberta. This comment in the comments is also what I immediately thought: "This looks like a weird concoction. Why not just call someone Adama?" Adama has more appeal to me if I really wanted a female version of Adam...and I don't. Although I do like Adam as a name for a boy.One of the other comments equates Adamina with both Jamesina and Thomasina but I find Thomasina much more appealing and it has a more natural flow than the other two.

Some male names feminize very well. I'm afraid Adam is not one of them.
