Vanellope works pretty well for a mash-up name and it's fun to say. Elly, Nelly, Nella or Pipi for NNs.
I would assume that a child named Vanellope was named by their sibling. I don't think it would overly hinder them though.
A pet named Vanellope would work well. I think it would be better for a cat or bunny... not a dog, because it's a bit of a mouthful to shout out.
