Thanks for that info. The eldest son has always been called Alexander Stewart Gibson,but as not to get mixed I was called Sandy. But When I was seven we moved to England from Aberdeen and the only other person called Sandy was a girl, and my mates would sing the Sandy Song from that stupid film Greece. But I joined the Scots Guards and got called Gibby for short, but now I'm living in a home for injured Veterans in Dundee Scotland Sandy is just a normal name up hear and I actually prefer Sandy now. I had no idea about it being Sandy that was changed to Alexander, Not the other way around. I also had no idea it was Greek either so thank you for your explanation.
