I never liked it. I don't like most Scottish/English/Welsh/Irish surnames as first names.

For some reason, Travis brings to mind an untrustworthy person. I've known two, and neither seemed untrustworthy, so I don't know why I have this impression.

I prefer Trevor.

Hi noel !!!

I haven't any particular tie with Travis. I rate it 4/10. It is not boring nor ugly but I personally would not use it.

Travers has a cuter vibe in my opinion but it is not enough anyway.

Travis is a name suited to all ages. Honest, reliable, and educated. I hope it makes a major comeback in the popularity stakes!

CLASSIC and handsome is how I choose to view this name. In fact, this is one of those names I would even consider using. (Though most likely as a middle name but of course still counts)
This has been my favorite names for boys starting with this letter for many, many years and I don't see that changing anytime soon. (:
