With a sister named something like Talya, Faye seems like an afterthought.

I like it, I think they go very well together yet still have their own unique charms. The alternate spelling Talya is a good choice paired with the modern-sounding Faye, as opposed to the more traditional Talia.

Thanks! Neither one of our likes the Talia spelling. Too much like Tania. First baby will be Talya for sure.

Although they have a similar look on paper, I don't think they match. They don't mismatch either though. I'd prefer Talia over Talya, but with Faye the -y- spelling might be better.

They sound nice enough together and on there own. I like Thalia better but Talya is also a nice spelling.

The name has to be Hebrew since the baby will be culturally Jewish.
