I've always really hated this name. It's the name of a nosy and officious secretary or something. Big red talon nails. I think the modern equivalent might be Mia.

Pretty dated. I don't think that I know a Donna under 45. I like Dawn more.

I can’t really get past the fact it means “woman “ in my native language. Also, it has a very 70s/80s vibe.

I love it but only in a Boston accent.

It is dated, but I do like it. I think there is something alluring about it.

I’m neutral to it, aside from it feeling dated. Had a positive association growing up and a different negative association as an adult. I don’t get any strong vibes/imagery from it; could be anyone. If I wanted a similar sound, I’d go with Dawn which, due to ongoing nature association, I don’t find dated.

I like it. I've only known one Donna, and I knew her when she was young, and I hardly ever hear of people named Donna. So even though I know it's dated like almost all D names are, it doesn't seem "old" and dumpy. Just not really old enough to become a modern retro name. I've never really seen the Italian usage of the word/title either, so to me it's a name.

It’s dated, there’s nothing interesting about the sound, and it’s kind of like naming your child “Woman”. Dawn is also plain and dated, but at least it has nice imagery. If I were trying to honour a Donna (which, in my mind, would be the only reason to even go near it) I’d use Dawn as a mn or something.

It's okay, a bit bland though. Very mature, I can't imagine a kid named Donna. Makes me think of a women in her 30's with brown hair and glasses who writes fantasy novels.

I think it's kinda ugly. And plain. Wait, something can't be both plain and ugly, can it? Ugly is worse than plain. It's kinda ugly. I've known a few. I don't get why it was once so popular.

Not a fan because of certain Donna's and it does sound a bit dated, like 70s. Donatella has a similar sound but I don't think I like that so much either because it sounds so frilly and overly feminine. Donata, is probably my favorite name with Donna in it but Donna just sounds short and simple and the meaning is very dull.

Not so much a name as a title, so not remarkable for its originality. Also, dated. And, currently, uncomfortably close to Donald!

I like it okay.
