I thought it was odd and bland the first time I heard it (when I was a kid, while watching Steel Magnolias), but it seems a bit like, uh... Kelsey, Shannon, Blair, Colby.
When I think of it beyond that, it reminds me of poets (Shel, Shelley).
The meaning's not bad. I don't think I'd react to their name either positively or negatively, if I met one.
