[Facts] Is it possible to update the Turkish popularity statistics?
I know that the site you named as a source also has data for the 1940s, 1950s etc. By decade but at least that is something :) Would it be possible to add them? I love this site here because you can look up so easily how the popularity of a name changed so I would love to see them here. Also I think the data for 2017 has been released.
I was also wondering about Germany. Their statistics are here: beliebte-vornamen.de (put www. in front) is it possible to add them here? Because I don't like the popularity stats on their site as you can't see the exact change and they don't have them for many names.
Just thought I'd ask :) It would be so great :)

I'm getting nowhere trying to find this on the Turkish stats website. Do you have a direct link?
I think Perrine got a little muddied up on that first sentence. The files on the link (http://www.turkstat.gov.tr/PreTablo.do?alt_id=1059) only contain year-on-year data up to 1980 and, when going back before then, it only lists the popular names for 1950, 1960 and 1970 (as years, not decades).
To Perrine: The 2018 data is up as well.
EDIT: Needed to clarify the last bit in the main paragraph.

I've updated the Turkish lists to 2018 at least. Mixing decades and years gets a little messy when graphing the results so I tend to avoid this. The exception is the US, where I've created a separate "series" for the names by decade. This causes a number of headaches so I think it's wiser to pass on doing it for Turkey too.
Thank you!
Thank you!
Thank you!
Knud Bielefeld (the one behind beliebte-vornamen.de) claims copyright on his ranked name lists (and I guess he can do so because of the database copyright existing at least in the EU), so they are not transferable without an agreement with him.

Ahhh I see, thank you! It's a pity, but I understand why it isn't possible.
