[Opinions] Re: Hadrian...for a girl??
Hadrian for a girl is, quite simply, illiterate. Of course, there's no law against it, but it seems a silly thing to copy. If her parents had wanted to use the Latin spelling, then Hadriana was there, ready and waiting! Or Hadrienne, or Hadrianne, along the lines of Adrienne and Adrianne.Hadrian is not related to Adrian. The H was silent in Latin, so it sounded like and is identical with Adrian.
