[Opinions] Rhonda?
Recently come across this name twice while writing a CAF. I know it's dated to like the sixties, but I think it's pretty. Datedness aside, do you think it's ready for a comeback?~~~~~If I showed up with a plane ticket and a shiny diamond ring with your name on it, would you wanna run away too? ~5 Seconds of Summer - She Looks So PerfectFur-mama to Trinity (ten-month-old calico kitten)

Anything that gets the Beach Boys playing in my head is splendid and excellent!I've never seen it used at all, here in South Africa, so it isn't even dated! And it's so much nicer than Ron(ald) for a boy.

I like Rhonda over Rhoda. Rhoda sounds like roadie, which just makes me think of an aimless follower.I do hope Rhonda makes a comeback.

It's not only dated; it has a hard-enough-to-roller-skate-on vibe to it. Rhonda would be some big, hefty, loudmouth woman with dyed-red hair, polyester stretch pants, a faded, messy tattoo of some forgotten boyfriend's name, and probably bad teeth.

It does sound kind of retro, but I like it.

My daughter had a childhood friend named Rhonda who was born approximately when my daughter was, the early 1980s. I always found her name a little jarring because it had fallen from popularity by the time she was born. No, not "refreshing." "Jarring".Anyway, I think it's ugly and I can only think of The Beach Boys song "Help Me Rhonda". Now I love The Beach Boys in general, but not that song. It's annoying.

I dig itIt's not the prettiest, but it's got pizzazz. Rhonda is fiery. I'd rather see a Rhonda than another Lily Grace...
Let's try to make her more modern:
Rhonda Maria
Rhonda Zoe
Rhonda Rose
Rhonda Jasmine
Rhonda Naomi
Rhonda Juliet
Rhonda SkyeJuliet Rhonda
Maria Rhonda
Florence Rhonda
Maya Rhonda
Naomi Rhonda
Vivien Rhonda
Freya Rhonda

It's ok. It still feels dated to me, and it makes me think of the word round and thus I get an impression of roundness for anyone named Rhonda, even if they aren't overweight, which is silly I know. What do you think of Rhoda? It is similar. I think I like it a little better, because it lacks that roundness.

Hi !!!I personally dislike Rhonda because it is too similar to ronda the Italian word for "patrol, watch, sentries". I'm quite indifferent about a possible comeback. It could be possible imo but it would not be anything special.I much prefer Rhoda.
