Taddeo + Piera – Isabetta, Maddalena
Grandmother Giulietta and Alderano Talenti were married shortly after the last update. The harvests failed this year; food was scarce and many people starved. Also without fruit is Piera and Taddeo’s little family. No more children have arrived, though they haven’t been doing anything to prevent it for years. Piera’s mother, Margherita, (in typical dramatic fashion) says “Piera, your womb was closed by your grief”. Piera’s not too sure about that, but no one argues with her mother. There is something to celebrate, however. Isabetta has just been engaged to Doriano, the eldest son of fellow banker Adriano Albizzo Navarra and his wife Carissa Alexandra (Gentili). During the food shortage Taddeo and Adriano worked together to try to find ways to help the people. While visiting the Morra estate with his father, Doriano became enamored of Isabetta and the families decided it might be a good idea to join together matrimonially to further solidify their partnership.
