[Facts] I have several questions.
>be me
>"hmmmm.... today I will check out the submitted names of Judeo-Christian legend..."
>one name catches my eye
>"This variant spelling may be invoking "seraph", the highest class of angel in Judeo-Christian mythology."
I get the connection to "seraph", but what exactly is it a variant spelling of? I'm 90% sure it's Celice, but still. EXPLAIN.
Our only limits are the ones we place on ourselves.

In the future, you might want to actually indicate what name you're referring to in your post. And maybe try not to come off so rudely. The all caps EXPLAIN is not necessary and really doesn't make me want to help you.
The name you're referring to (Seliph) has not been edited at all, it is still as it was written by the anonymous submitter in 2015. So we can only guess what they meant. And from doing a little bit of Google searching, I'm thinking that it's from the name of a Fire Emblem character. So it doesn't belong in Judeo-Christian Legend. And I personally don't think I'd word the entry as a variant, so I'm going to rewrite it better.
Seliph actually doesn't currently meet our criteria for Popular Culture names though; I actually should delete it.
You only had one question, btw.

I thought that the OP was referring to Seraphina.
That's why they should have posted the name. Seliph, before I edited it, had the exact description they posted though.
