I like Wilson used as a MN (because of the personal connection to your partner) with the nickname Willa!

Annie & Willa are sweet as sisters, but Annie from Susannah is a small stretch, Willa from Caroline Wilson is a huge stretch, it's like walking a kilometre away from a possum and squinting to make it seem like it looks like a kangeroo.. lol, really not obvious!

Annie and Willa together seem kind of rural hipster and/or pleasantly minimalist.

I feel like Susannah Ruth has more backbone than Susannah Audrey, and I prefer Elizabeth over Caroline, but that's mainly for Eliza.

Susannah "Annie" seems less natural to me than _______ Wilson "Willa", especially if neither Susannah or Annie are honoring? Can't say I like it much.

They are fine. I have a niece always called Annie(Anne is her name.)and Willa is ok.

I'd rather see Anna and Willa. I don't like Annie ... it sounds like "any."

I like the full formal names. Susannah Audrey is better than Susannah Ruth imo but both are nice.
Caroline Wilson is better than Elizabeth, and goes better with Susannah imo.
I don't like the contrived-nickname idea very much. Feels phoney to me. But whatever, different strokes ... I don't think I'd sneer too hard if it were real and they actually went by those names that way.

I like Annie and Willa as sisters, but I don't really like any of the full names.

I love that the kids will have nicknames derived, yet varied, from the first or middle names - which in itself would be cool.

Susannah is such a distinctive name that using Annie, not one of its usual or obvious nns, seems a bit like Susannah is being "dumbed down." Like the parents really wanted to use Susannah, but something about it, its uncommonness or its Biblicality or something, put them off, and instead of either picking another name entirely, putting Susannah in the mn slot or just using Susannah anyway and letting go of whatever objection they had, they tried to "play it safe" with a very plain, not very intuitive nn.

This goes double for FirstName Wilson, nn Willa. It feels very southern blueblood to me, and also like the parents were more interested in using family names and thus needed to stretch very hard to find distinctive nns.
It reminds me of one of the Bush twins a couple years ago naming one daughter Margaret Laura after both grandmas, and using Mila as the nn, and then later on naming another daughter Poppy after her grandfather, George. It's like "Really? The things you tell yourself..."

The sound of Annie annoys me and I've always hated Willa. Will is such a strong-sounding name, great for a boy or man, and adding an A to it doesn't do much to soften it and make it suitable for a female, IMO. I'd use Wilson as a middle name for a girl if it were important to my partner, but I'd never call her Willa.

I've not a particular opinion on Wilson. But the -son part is strongly tied with a male so I personally would not use it. I prefer Willa on a girl and Will on a boy.

Annie and Willa are very cute together. I like both of the sibsets you've suggested - well, I'm not keen on Wilson for a girl, but if it's a name that holds significance, that's understandable. If pressed, I'd choose Susannah Audrey and Caroline Wilson, because Susannah Ruth and Elizabeth as sisters feel very religious, but I really like both.

I like both Susannah Audrey and Susannah Ruth, but I think Annie is a bit of a stretch. If Wilson is important, of course you can use it, but if you plan on having more children, I'd wait to use it on a son.
