What do you think of the name Kelly? Kelly Elizabeth
Kelly Esme

Kelly ..?It’s unlike my usual name style, but I can actually see myself with a daughter named Kelly. I like it on a boy too.

I prefer Kelly for a boy and Kelliann for a girl.

It's so ... curly. Maybe all the Kellys I've met had curly hair, or maybe just one. Maybe it's the sound.
The name feels very "born in the 60s-70s" to me. So, just old enough that it's not too much of a mom name.
I like it alright, it's just the strong "around my age" association that puts me off. It's like Leslie that way.
I think it'd be more striking & appealing on a guy - like Leslie would. But, not bad for a girl either.

Curly haha, well I did always want curly hair.Thank you for your honest opinion! It is very 60s/70s but think it’s “far away” enough to work. I’m happy so many of you like it on a boy too, I thought I was the only one (:

I don't like it much, it sounds too modern and nickname-y.

Would you like it better as a nickname?

Kelly is one of the few names that, for me, really feel fitting on either a boy or girl. I get friendliness and a charming energy from it. Kelly Esme is my favorite from your list. Playing with possibilities...please forgive any repeats as I’ve not read your other replies...Kelly Amoret - ;)

Meh. It's so dated and it always makes me think of a big, muscular, very athletic woman. Some might not find that a bad image, but it doesn't appeal to me. Weirdly, I love Callie.

Thank you for you honest opinion! It’s strange how you like a name that’s very similar but not the other name. I have that too with some names.

Hi !!!I think that Kelly is unisex.I personally prefer it on a boy. Infact there is an unpleasant tie with a brand of shoes for children that I can't stand. However I like Kelly because of the Irish heritage, because of the lovely shade of green and also because it reminds me Grace Kelly.I would use it for a girl just as middle name because as first names seems cutesy in my opinion. I love it on a boy though.I like Kelly Esme!I suggest you:Kelly Ofelia

Kelly SueWould you consider naming her "Kelly Susan" or "Kelly Suzanne" - then using Kelly Sue (KellySue / Kelly-Sue) as nickname - at any spelling?

I’m not really into double names, but I like your suggestion.
