Farrah sounds better as masculine to me for whatever reason, and I wouldn't use that spelling of it.
I have an Aunt Fay, plus fey reminds me of gay guys...nothing against either of them, but I'm not inclined to name a kid after them. I do like Phaedra (I say Fay-dra), though.
I used to really dislike Fawn because of the verb, but I've mellowed towards it dramatically ever since I went through a phase of loving (and I still like) Fauna. Now I think it's sweet, and it reminds me of music.
