[Opinions] Re: Turkish names
in reply to a message by Perrine
I agree, I love the meanings of Turkish names! My only difficulty with them is that I'm not a fan of the hard g. I like Ayla, Sevda, Rabia, Elvan, and Ayaz.
My favorites include:
Adalet
Aylin
Belinay
Ceren
Feray
Ilayda
Meral
Miray
Senay
Altan
Aydin
Baran
Kadri
Koray
Evren
Serhan
Taner
*****
And last of all an Admiral came,
A terrible man with a terrible name,—
A name which you all know by sight very well;
But which no one can speak, and no one can spell.
