Veronica is too long and too complicated. It will inevitably shorten, and I'm underwhelmed by Vera, Ron(nie) and Nic(kie).
Valerie just isn't doing it for me and never has. No particular reason; it just seems suited to bland, forgettable people.
Vanessa is definitely The One: when I was at uni two of my guy friends were dating Vanessa women, both of them tiny, dark, very beautiful and very nice. That's enough to swing it for me.
