The meaning is nice, but there is something about the sounds that contrast with the meaning. It makes me think of someone that would be in a moving like "Kill Bill." Isn't it usually used as a last name or place name in Iran? I know there have been a few Americans named Khalil but is it commonly used as a first name in the Arabic speaking world?

Love it. I think it sounds gentle and soft, but still handsome and boyish.
