ROUND 6
Taddeo’s father, Alderano, passed away five years ago at the ripe old age of 84. The Duca and Duchessa continue to do business and play with their grandchildren. Isabetta and Principe Lorenzo are happy together and contented with their family of four children. Now that they are a family of high standing, the Morras decided to support a talented half-Italian, half-French artist, Julien Ottavio Malabranca, as his patrons. Little did they know that they would be welcoming the young sculptor into the family! Ilaria, their third daughter, has been engaged to said artist. Her twin, Chiara, was jealous that their parents hadn’t arranged engagements for both of them at the same time as was the original plan (and frankly was rather confused by the less-than-respectable choice of an artist, though he admittedly is easy on the eyes and sculpts the human body with seductive accuracy) until it was revealed that Ilaria was pregnant (oops!) which explained the rushed plans. Ilaria was sent away to the countryside to “plan the wedding” with a distant aunt for a while where she gave birth to a boy. She and Julien will soon marry quietly and hope no one does too much math. The couple is very happy and will be living in a small house on the Morra estate (of course the Morras patronage will continue now as well, a side benefit). They named their son Vittorio and gave him Taddeo’s middle name Michele in thanks, especially as it also honors Julien’s maternal grandfather, Michel.
