I hadn't heard of Mafalda. My mind instantly made it into a Mal- name even though the "l" is not adjacent to the "Ma." I don't like Mal- names because of the meaning being "bad."
The other thing my mind instantly did was associate Mafalda with names such as Mackenzie and Makayla which I don't much like.
So Matilda definitely wins.
