[Opinions] Emilio
What do you think of the name Emilio for a boy? This name has been a semi-favorite of mine for the past couple of years or so, but recently I've begun to like it more.Edited for grammar.

I like it - pleasant, not terrible. I'd never use it though

Meh, I think Emery is for more striking but I'm kind of fed up with the "Em" sound at the moment even thought I'd love the boys to take it back a bit. To many Emilys & Emmas running around.

It's fine. I wouldn't object to it on someone else's kid, but I'd never use it either. I LOVE Emilia on a girl, though.

I like the sound of Emilio and Emil but I would never use them because I can't get past their meaning.

Absolutely adore it! {m}I think this name is so spunky, much more than the fem. version Emilia (at least the way many people pronounce it in the U.S. - Amelia). I just can't say how much I like this...I'm also fond of Emiliano, but less so.

dislike it very much.I don't like the way it sounds and it's too long. In addition to that the meaning is 'rival' -not such a great meaning.

Estevez.Seriously, I cannot separate that man's image from my mind. And I barely know who he is.Other than that, though, I think it's a nice enough name. Has a pleasant sound, anyways.

I really dislike it.Unless you're Spanish or Italian, no go. Emil is so much better imho.

It still reminds me of Emily. And kids may taunt him in Elementary school. Viva La Backlavah! (Dag's flag)
