[Opinions] Re: Oakley or Everly?
Everly is a modern GP of mine. I like a lot of Ev- names: Everly, Evanna, Evangeline... (Not big on Evelyn, though, and that's the most popular one.) I actually do know a real-life little girl named Everly, and it doesn't sound weird or inelegant at all. It's similar in sound to Beverly, which is a name I actually liked as a kid (thanks to Beverly Cleary), but I understand if people find Beverly dated.I think Everly can transcend "trendiness" perfectly well... as long as it's spelled this un-fussy way, and not in some "tryndee" fashion like Everleigh, or something. That will become dated fast.I'm sorry, though, I don't like Oakley at all. For either gender. I don't like the "oak" sound.***Please rate my personal name lists:www.behindthename.com/pnl/69381
