I think that Fox and Briar are perfect for boys!
Briar is not direcly a flower plus it is enough similar to Blair and Brian to be masculine without any problem.
Fox is masculine thanks to its look and sound. It has an energic, short sound and it is obviously an established surname so it could be honouring too. If you compare it with Renard (or even Zorro) you would see that it is not a stretch.
