Fox is a guilty pleasure of mine. I think it sounds good with the middle name or surname William - Fox William sounds similar to Fitzwilliam.
Briar isn't my cup of tea, but I think it's nicer on a boy than it is on a girl. It strikes me as the kind of name a quiet, artistic person would bear.
