I think it's fine. I really like the etymology, it's one of my very favorites - "day's eye." If my name were Daisy I'd be so happy that it were actually Day's Eye. Same if my gf was named Daisy or something, I'd start all my love letters to her like that. It's a little bit precious like a doily, but whatever, you could do a lot worse for your kid.
