[Opinions] Queen
I'm watching 'Say Yes To The Dress' while waiting for my taxi to arrive. The current client is Queen Precious-Jewel Earth! She goes by either Queen or Precious.
WDYT?

I don’t mind the names individually (I prefer the name Queenie though) but with the whole name your just asking for trouble

I don't even like two word names in a combo. Four is... wow.Though honestly by the fourth one it's kind of gotten past my main problem with multiple word names, which is that it sounds more like a phrase than a name. Queen Precious-Jewel definitely sounds like a phrase, but then Earth is just... also there.

Tacky as hell.

On one hand, Queen Precious-Jewel Earth is way OTT, however, on the other, it must have felt wonderful growing up with a name bestowed by a mother who viewed her child that way and wanted her child to know how much she was loved. As the fourth dd whose mother didn't put a lot of thought or effort into my names and could never explain why she chose the names she did, I almost wish my mom would have gone the Queen Precious route. ;-)

I don't think I'm awesome enough to pull that name off, but if she can...neat.I can't stand Precious, but Precious-Jewel is about 5 times better for some reason.

Whoa. I like Jewel, but nothing else

Yeah, I remember her. I noted down that her mother apparently chose the name because she wanted her to always know she’s a queen, and thought she looked like a precious jewel when she was born. I dislike the whole name, and whilst I appreciate the sentiment, my dad had a similar thought, but was more creative and didn’t just call me Beautiful Princess. It’s nice that she was fine with her own name though.

Absolutely ridiculous.

Why would anyone ever choose Queen when Queenie is so much better, and so cute.If I had to choose what to go by between Queen and Precious, I'd lean slightly towards Precious. Jewel/Jules would be my ultimate choice for a nickname though.

Yeah, I'd prefer Queenie / Jewel over Queen / Precious.

I agree. As much as I hate Jewel and Jules, they're the best of a bad bunch here!

Hi JemimahGertrude !!!I like all these names separately: Precious, Jewel, Queen ... They are nice! But not together.Actually I prefer Queenie to Queen.Anyway with 'Earth' as surname I would choose a less immediate name.

Actually, Earth is the last of her given names. Her surname is never mentioned in the programme.
