Is Shauna better than Seana or Shawna as a female form of Sean?

Shawna seems more um trashy to Reddit - one poster there said that they got an image of a woman with eighties hair, big boobs, big butt and no muscle tone with a ciggy in her mouth.

I knew a Shanna once, pronounced Shawna/Seana/Shauna. It was very very confusing for a lot of people.

I personally like Shauna the best... not too keen on Seana. Don't mind Shawna.

It seems like a "mom name" to me since there are so many my age. I wouldn't use it myself, but don't hate it.

Use Siobhan. I agree, Shawna is 80s as hell. I get the same image. She works at a diner, has a Boston accent so thick you'd think she was in some awful Ben Affleck movie, goes to mass twice a year and doesn't take communion 'cause she's been remarried twice.

Maybe marginally better, but they're all horrid, and I hardly think the Reddit user's description is flattering.

Seana has a cool sound to it. Shauna is nice too. I don't like Shawna though.

Actually I prefer simply Seana as a feminine form.

I also like Sine, Siobhan and I like how Chevonne sounds.

Shauna and Shawna are colourless in my opinion.
