It is difficult...
Both are old-favourites of mine but actually I would not choose them in real life nor for a character.
Both are...boring. They are too basic and not tied to anything special in my mind.
I prefer Sid (m, full name) and Sydney (unisex) to Sidney.
I prefer many Scottish names to Sean / Séan.
But If I have to choose one so... Sean.
