I'm having a hard time not just thinking of it as Joseph with a huffy sound at the end, yet the *pha is so unusual, it intrigues me.

Jozefa would look better to me, maybe. Kind of in the same way I prefer Tzipora to Zipporah.

I like Josephine better, personally, but there's nothing wrong with Josepha. I wouldn't look askance at a little Josepha or anything like that.

I've never heard it used: I suppose it's joSEEfa? I really don't enjoy it. Josephine is much better, but I wouldn't use it because I like Joseph, nn Joe, enough to use IRL, so the fem versions don't get a look in.

It sounds ugly and tired, I prefer Josephine.
