I love both. I agree it would be too much for siblings, but I love them separately.

Jasper is my fave boy name and I'm just hoping it doesn't get too popular. Opal I like, but I probably wouldn't use it for a fn.

I love Jasper, and Opal's very cute. It's been growing on me a lot lately. Both are great names, imo.

Jasper in the states comes off "souhtern fried" but i like it ok.Opal, is ok...but i love mabel so....

I like Jasper a great deal. Not so big on Opal. I think it's antique but not timeless.

Opal is a nice name, but it reminds me of opal fruit sweets.
Jasper is, in England, one of those really pretentiously 'try-hard' middle class names, which makes it very hard for me to like it.
